Meet The Staff
Jake was born in Lafayette, IN and moved to the Indianapolis suburbs at 10 years of age. He headed back to the Lafayette area to attend Krannert School of Management at Purdue University. After graduating in 2001, Jake began his career by working a commission-only sales, recruiting, and public speaking position in Indianapolis. He then dove into the retail and restaurant industries, and ended up at Eagle Pointe four years later. His love for combining family, friends, food and fun was a perfect match for his role as the Sales Director for 7 seasons. On January 1, 2013, Jake took over as the General Manager. Jake hopes to pass on what he has learned from his life coaches by continuously teaching kids and young adults.
Bret was born and raised in the small town of Hartford City, IN. He attended Indiana University where he majored in Tourism Management. While earning his bachelor’s degree, he worked for a couple of seasons at Eagle Pointe as a server and bartender. Upon graduation in 2009, Bret was offered the position of Food & Beverage Manager. He decided to be a recreation intern for Omni Resort at ChampionsGate near Orlando, FL instead. In March of 2010, Bret moved back to Bloomington and accepted a managerial role at Eagle Pointe. His hard work, passion for the company, and knowledge of the industry earned him a promotion in 2013. Bret is eager to show our guests how truly unique and special Eagle Pointe is to southern Indiana.
After being born and raised in Michigan, Maureen joined the Eagle Pointe family in 2010 as a front desk associate. She was promoted to Property Manager later that same year. Maureen enjoys exploring Bloomington and spending time with her family who also live at the Pointe. She is currently working on a Business Degree and hopes to raise a family here in Bloomington.
Jim grew up in Bloomington and is a graduate of Bloomington High School North. After spending 2 years at Indiana University Jim realized that he wanted to pursue his passion, the art of cooking. Working alongside several chefs, Jim found his way to Eagle Pointe in 1999 working with Crystal Catering. Jim left Eagle Pointe when the contract was up with Crystal Catering and continued catering and managing with Crystal in Indianapolis working events like the Indy 500 and The Indianapolis Colts games. Jim then left Crystal to work for the Fountains Catering Hall, assisting them with the grand opening, and he continued to work at Fountains until he found his way back to us in April of 2003.
Craig was born and raised here in Bloomington. He played a strong role on the Bloomington High School South golf team, earning 3 varsity letters and leading the team to a 3rd place finish at the state tournament in 1996 and a 2nd place finish in 1997. He was selected to play for the Indiana Tri-State team those two years, and was an honorary member of the Indiana All-State team his senior year. After graduating in 1997, Craig continued his golf career at Vincennes University and IUPUI. He believes he found his true calling while in college working at Highland Country Club as the Pro Shop Assistant for four seasons. At Highland he gained valuable experience and knowledge of golf operations while continuing to fine-tune his skills in preparation for tournament play. Craig's career continued to develop when he traveled on the National Golf Association Hooters Tour during 2005 and 2006. Although he would love to be playing golf for a living, Craig's passion for the game is now seen through his ability to facilitate a strong relationship with the Eagle Pointe golf community. Craig is currently enrolled in the Professional Golf Management program, where he has already passed the Playing Ability Test required to attain a PGM degree.
