Meet The Staff
Ray graduated from University H.S. in Bloomington, IL. In 2000 he graduated from Indiana University, with a B.S. in Chemistry. While attending I.U. he rode with the independent Cinzano team in several Little 500's. Upon Graduation, Ray spent the next two years on the wait staff of restaurants in Indianapolis and then joined the R.N. Thompson group in July of 2003 as service staff here at Eagle Pointe. In September 2003 he was transferred from Eagle Pointe to the food service area at R.N. Thompson's new Southern Dunes Golf Club. Ray returned to Eagle Pointe in June of 2004 as Banquet and Events Manager before taking over as General Manager in August of 2004.
Jake was born in Lafayette, IN and moved to the Indianapolis suburbs at 10 years of age. He headed back to the Lafayette area to attend Krannert School of Management at Purdue University. After graduating in 2001, Jake began his career by working a commission-only sales, recruiting, and public speaking position in Indianapolis. He then dove into the retail and restaurant industries, and ended up at Eagle Pointe four years later. His love for combining family, friends, food and fun is a perfect match for his role here at our resort. Someday, Jake hopes to pass on what he has learned from his life coaches by teaching kids and young adults. Jake dreams of being a tennis professional while continuing to organize events and parties.
